Northern are introducing a reduced timetable from 4 January in response to staffing issues.  It is understood that eight Monday to Saturday services will not operate and the following services are being withdrawn:

Newcastle to Carlisle   0702, 1046, 1523 and 1923

Carlisle to Newcastle:  0850, 1225, 1654 and 2107

We hope this action will reduce the need for short-notice cancellations.
