As well as the obvious jobs - drivers, train managers and conductors, staff working at stations – there is a huge range of opportunities in marketing, finance, management, human resources, train planning, engineering, catering, signalling and more.

Many train companies offer industry placements for university students.

In 2018-19, with the support of CrossCountry, we were able to provide a student with an internship and it is hoped that we will be able to do so again in the future
